Most people meet SKIN1004 through the Water-Fit. The Air-Fit is a different kind of product under the same brand name.
The short version: this SKIN1004 Air-Fit sunscreen review comes down to two facts on the list. It’s a mineral sunscreen, zinc oxide third and titanium dioxide, printed on this list as titanium oxide, fifth, with no chemical filters at all.[1] And it isn’t fragrance free: instead of one entry reading “Fragrance,” it carries geranium, bergamot and rose oils plus three declared fragrance components.[1] Centella is first, printed at 35.8%.[1]
What’s actually in it?
Two filters, both mineral.

The 35.8% is worth pausing on. A number beside an ingredient is checkable in a way a plant name on the front of a box is not. What the figure doesn’t do is tell you what 35.8% centella comes to once it’s on skin, and we’ve found nothing that settles that.
Is this fragrance free?
No, and the way the list says so is unusual enough to be worth showing you.
There’s no single entry reading “Fragrance” here. What’s on the list instead is Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil at twenty-seven, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia Fruit Oil at twenty-nine and Rosa Damascena Flower Oil at thirty-eight, followed by citronellol, geraniol and linalool at forty-one, forty-two and forty-three.[1] The list carries no fragrance-free flag.[1]
How much the single word “fragrance” is allowed to hide is the subject of our fragrance-free piece, and flagged there that we hadn’t read the rule on how essential oils have to be declared. We still haven’t. What we can say is what the list shows: scented ingredients here appear under their own names rather than under the collective word.
If you screen for fragrance, that matters. Searching a list for “Fragrance” would not have caught this one.
Will it leave a white cast?
It can. Both of its filters are the kind that do.
Zinc oxide and titanium dioxide are both filters that can cast. How visible it turns out to be comes down to your skin tone and the amount you apply. Should I get the Air-Fit or the Water-Fit?
They aren’t the same category of product, so the question is really which trade you want.
